My brain is a bit frazzled so I can’t come up with any fresh material today. Just so I don’t leave y’all completely in the lurch, here’s a poem I wrote a couple of years ago making its Poison Spur debut.<\/p>\n

\nEdward Scissorhands at the Petting Zoo<\/p>\n
Pools of fresh blood
\nWith fur afloat
\nSliced-up llama
\nAnd lamb and goat
\nPunctured bladders
\nAre spewing piss
\nHis friendly touch
\nHas gone amiss<\/p>\n
The bleats of pain
\nHave made him weep
\nArteries gush
\nAnd organs seep
\n“There there,” he says
\nAnd pats its head
\nWhich comes clean off
\nAnother dead<\/p>\n
O woe to him
\nWith scissored hands
\nNow caked with gore,
\nSinew, and glands
\nDo not assume
\nA spelling error
